EMECO x MICA : The Stack Stool

The Stack Stool is a collaborative project between Emeco and the Maryland Institute College of Art, designed as a new addition to Emeco’s catalog. As one of the most well-known and respected names in the furniture industry, Emeco has built a reputation for excellence in craftsmanship, sustainable design, and innovation. Extensive research into Emeco’s core values, design aesthetics, and manufacturing processes laid the foundation for creating a functional and playful design. The Stack Stool combines simplicity with playfulness while maintaining Emeco's hallmark functional form. Its key feature is the ability to stack up to six units high, with legs that slide easily into one another, allowing for effortless user interaction and configuration.
